Pasir Ris Park is one of Singapore's many 'neighbourhood' parks. These are dotted all over the island - ensuring Singapore remains a 'garden city'. However, as Pasir Ris park is also coastal, it is really a beautiful place to visit with a small mangrove, views of the sea and plenty of trees. This is the only park where I have seen an owl, and also a lot of green parrots.
